Telehandler operator

This is a full-time, on-site Barrel Park/Telehandler Operator role based in Callander. The operator will manage logistics and movement of cask stock on-site using telehandler equipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining the barrel park, supporting the coopers by transporting casks as needed, conducting routine equipment maintenance, and adhering to health and safety protocols. Collaboration with team members and attention to detail will be paramount in this role to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating telehandler equipment, with the appropriate certification
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory management
• Familiarity with safety protocols and guidelines for heavy machinery and manual handling
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Previous experience in the distillery or cooperage industry is an advantage
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
