Duties Of This Role Include
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with HCPC, CSP, and local policy.
- Participate in audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to team working and service improvement.
- Minimal 3 years post grad experience in the outpatient setting treating both musculoskeletal and post operative patient required.
- Previously experience of orthopaedic and other ward based rehabilitation would be an advantage as there is on call as part of the post.
