Audit Senior

Job Description

We’re hiring an Audit Senior to play a key role in the delivery of high-quality audits, supporting junior team members and working closely with clients.

You’ll gain increasing responsibility and exposure at a supported pace, backed by an experienced local team and a clear pathway towards manager — with the flexibility to thrive professionally and personally.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments in line with UK auditing standards
• Be heavily involved in audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, often on-site at client premises
• Take responsibility for specific sections of the audit file, ensuring work is accurate, complete, and well documented
• Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and identify key risks or matters for Manager or Partner review
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with clients as part of the wider audit team
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• ACA / ACCA / CA qualified, or within 12 months of qualification
• Proven experience delivering audit assignments within a UK practice environment
• Comfortable owning audit sections from planning through to completion
• Experience reviewing junior team members’ work and supporting their development
• Confident communicating directly with clients and escalating risks appropriately
• Looking to progress your career towards an Audit Manager role within a structured development framework
